Judith Ann Jordan Program

Depending upon their individual needs, children may live in on-campus dormitories if they require special interventions, or in family-style homes within the Springfield commnity, which provide the least-restrictive learning environment.  The Judith Ann Jordan Residential Program provides 24-hour “active treatment,” and coordinates individualized educational, medical and support services.

The Judith Ann Jordan Program provides residential services to youth between the ages of 5 and 21 who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability.  The Judith Ann Jordan Program cannot adequately provide services to youth with certain issues including but not limited to:

  • certain intense behavioral issues
  • medical issues that require intensive care including but not limited to:
    • tracheotomy
    • serious respiratory conditions, including requirement of CPAP or BiPAP
    • nasogastric or gastronomy tubes
    • acute feeding issues requiring constant monitoring
    • poorly controlled seizures requiring rescue medication on routine basis
